[ajug-members] Will C++ get closures before Java

Speaking of other languages...

Since this is a Java user group, does anyone know if there is a JVM user's group?  I'd like to start talking about Scala, or Clojure with people in the area, but not sure where to start.

Is anyone else out there interested in these?  I'd like to focus on just the languages and their APIs.  No Spring, Hibernate/JPA, J2EE, AspectJ etc. at all (no baggage). Just the core language(s).
