How do you see the compiled code ? Is it JAD editor or class file editor?

I assume it still has the problem with Java5+ compiled code?

I guess it was going to the different repository if you use the http://jadclipse.sourceforge.net and it got nothing to do with java version.

This is a good information for me. I was thinking my setup is wrong or something because I was able to use JadClipse so well with my previous project which was on Java 1.4 and was wondering why it is not working with my new Java 1.5 project. So the next question is, do you have a recommendation for a good eclipse decompiler plugin that works with Java 1.5?

No, you’re right Burr, JAD doesn’t properly decompile Java 5+ bytecode. My current project is mobile development using IMP-NG, which is a subset of MIDP 2.0, so I don’t have the benefit of Java 5 modernizations anyway – but JadClipse works great for my IMP-NG vendor implementation…

Will JadClipse work with Java5/Java6 code? I had read somewhere that it wasn't modernized.
Maybe another way to ask is...what decompiler are you plugging into JadClipse?

1. For mobile developers, EclipseME (now MTJ)
2. JadClipse proves to be useful as well

Hey Team,
I need your help with some research, what are your favorite Eclipse plug-ins?
Please respond via email or twitter.
I think the discussion will be valuable to all of us - who use Eclipse. Perhaps we run another survey for those people who use IDEA later. :-)
Sincerely,
Burr
