Have you tried JBoss Operations Network?

It is worth a look, it was built for JBoss multi-instance monitoring,
dashboard, alerting, you can watch hibernate sessions/queries, EJB
invocations, URL hits, JMS queue depth and perhaps most importantly the log
file - all with alerts based on slowness, ERROR or overuse.
