thanks for all you siad Jeff, if you run TowaligaPond.class file it prints from the math in the static-arrays for now; here's a site (towaliga.com) i do volunteer for and years back i made this pond dam size/volume program ( http://www.ofig.org/nrcs/towp/ - you can load example numbers at the bottom) attached is where i was working on it last week (going to move it from php to java/jnlp), run the TowaligaPond program. source/.java is included... i really enjoyed working with php image functions but see the strength of java...
