I've never used Lunar Pages but I'm seriously thinking about giving them 
a shot with the "coupon" special they are running:

They seem to push Resin, which is an excellent servlet container IMHO. 
Not sure if they offer Tomcat as an alternative though. At 6.95 a month, 
it might be worth porting to. For my current sites, I exchange routine 
sysadmin services for server space. So I'd also look into your 
social/business network to see if a bartering deal can be struck.
If money is no object, I'd look at rackspace.com and theplanet.com for 
dedicated linux servers with a root account. I've used them both and 
they have provided me with great service.
