I'm having troubles with the announcement list at this moment (at least I
didn't see my recent test message) perhaps due to the server upgrade.  In
any case, here is what our next meeting is about.  

 


Struts 2: Not Simply the Next Version of Struts


Description


Recognized Struts expert James Holmes will give an introduction to the
Struts 2 framework and highlight its rich features - debunking any notion
that Struts 2 is simply the next release of Struts. Where applicable, the
Struts 2 features will be compared and contrasted to Struts 1.x features.

James is a long-time Struts project committer, creator of Struts Console and
author of Struts 2: The Complete Reference and Struts: The Complete
Reference, both from McGraw-Hill Osborne. James also co-authored JavaServer
Faces: The Complete Reference for McGraw-Hill Osborne and has written
numerous articles on Java Web development for Oracle Magazine.
