[ajug-members] RPG & Java

For once there is a subject I actually know something about!

I am an AS/400 (yes, we *do* still call it that) developer with some Java
experience.

My first piece of advice is to treat anything you see written by Joe Sam
Shirah as though it were pure gold, for it often is.

I would only add that there are some "Midrange" mailing lists which are
targeted to AS/400 folks integrating into the Java world. I would highly
recommend reviewing the "JAVA400-L -- Java Programming on and around the
iSeries / AS400" list which may be found at:
http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/java400-l

You are also more than welcome to contact me directly if there is any way I
may assist in your efforts. I can tell you "I don't know" as well as
anyone. :)

Welcome to the AS/400 world!

Wayne
