Brenda,

I took those same courses and I am still trying to market myself. How did you do it?

I can recommend the "E-Business Solutions in Java Certificate" course at Southern Polytechnic State University. It has prerequisites: Working knowledge of HTML plus 1 year Java programming or SPSU's Java Programming: Parts 1 and 2. This class is not intended to teach the Java programming language. I took all three of these classes. I already knew basic Java and had a job as a programmer in Java but needed the J2EE knowledge the E-Business Solutions class gave. Because of my background the Java Part 1 and 2 were trivial and a bit of a waste of my time. The E-Business Solutions class was very good and I learned a great deal from it. It is a high passed class and a lot of work, I knew that several students were unable to complete the work.

    All:

I am looking for recommendations as to where in Atlanta I can get quality classroom (or otherwise) training in JAVA, such that, when completed, I can market myself as a JAVA newbie and the training I completed will be looked upon favorably by prospective hiring managers.

Thanks in advance for all your recommendations,
    G
