Hi,
I have gone to two Open Spaces Conferences since the first of theyear. Yes, they were test-related, but the format was Open Space.
Both events had roughly two dozens people; mixture of testers,
developers, consultants, and managers. I meet lot of great folks
and learned a great deal.
The first one was the 3-day 6th Annual Austin (TX) Workshop onTest Automation (http://awta.wikispaces.com) in Austin, TX.
This is a report of what and how it happened: http://onthewatirfront.blogspot.com/2007/01/trip-report-for-awta.html
Then we have a follow-up 1-day event in the form of the Bay Area Developer-Tester/Tester-Developer Summitat the Googlepex in Mountain View Calif. Googletesting.blogspot.com
has an entry of the results of this event: http://googletesting.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Hope this helps,Al Snow

Hi,Since the open space conference (In walking distance for me ;-) is coming up soon - Who's going? It looks like there are still quite a few tickets available. The GA audits department will be sending 2 developers (including me) and I am really looking forward to learn more about other people's experiences and practices here in Atlanta. I have no experience with 'open space technology' but after the positive feedback following the Java Posse roundup I am really looking forward to it.See you all at the conference!Cheers -Gunnar
