[ajug-members] New to java

Cathy,
Have you tried doing some networking in your local community for
opportunities to take on new work or maintenance? Sometimes the simplest/low
paying opportunities can open doors and help build a network for you.

Presence is important. If no one has met you, then it is definitely harder
to get noticed. Just my 2 cents.
Good luck
Rai

  Subject: [ajug-members] New to java

  Hi all,

I am new to Java and was wondering if anyone has any input on how to get
experience or an entry-level position that does not require previous
experience. I will appreciate any advice.

  Thanks,
  Cathy
