I personally use the MyEclipse Database Explorer which I find pretty
comprehensive.

It gives you driver templates for almost all major database vendors.

The perspective has a typical DB Browser view with the tree widget to step
into the DB, there's a SQL Editor for which SQL statements can be auto
generated from the context menu of a table in the tree view. Other views
include SQL Results, SQL History, DB Connection Info and Table Info with
Columns, Indexes, Primary Key, Foreign Key, Preview and Row Count tabs
available under it.

It does indeed fit my needs for a DB plug-in within Eclipse.

Hope this helps.

Harpal

Has anyone compared the various JDBC-compliant database explorer/reader
plugins for Eclipse? What is the best editor plugin? Thanks in advance for
your help! _______________________________________________
