[ajug-members] favorite IDE

I used emacs/xemacs for a *long* time, and had that environment so
finely tuned to my work habits that nothing could really compare. But
when I first went to Java I was effectively forced into a new editor
(JBuilder). In the beginning it galled me, but I warmed to it after a
while. Now I can't live without the features of a specialized IDE, and
I no longer have the time to roll my own extensions within emacs (or
to write Eclipse extensions, for that matter).
The downside with the individualized environment is that it only works
in one context. Especially if you change jobs or do contract work
it's hard to keep your own tools and practices working. And even in a
more stable environment, it can be hard to help your coworkers with
problems if they also don't share the same toolkit.
I think that my low-level needs are met sufficiently by nearly any
IDE, and I just don't have the resources any more to fine-tune it to
be exactly what I want. (Though IDEA was closer to my ideal than
Eclipse....)
