Subject: [ajug-members] New Job Posting Site
I wanted to recognize the considerable contribution made by Gunnar Hillert,
Jerzy Puchala and Dorota Puchala for their efforts on rebuilding our Job
Posting website. The older system was based upon servlets (not JSPs) and had
several usability issues. This system is very popular amongst the hiring
managers and recruiters who are looking to employ AJUG'ers and those of like
skills!
One major new feature is that it copies job postings/announcements to the
ajug-jobs email list.
New site: http://www.ajug.org/jobs.html
Sign up for the email list by following these directions:
http://www.ajug.org/resources.html
The new job posting site is based upon the following technologies:
Tomcat 5.5
JDK 5.0
Struts
Hibernate
Postgres
Thank you for your contributions to the Atlanta Java Users Group.
www.ajug.org also needs an RSVP service if anyone is interested!
Sincerely,
Burr
