Well, we use 'Harvest' from CA for our projects. All I can say is
that I did not have a happy experience with it.
There are too many things I don't like about it.

Thanks a lot,
Venkata Mamidenna,

Subject: [ajug-members] Which Source Version Control System do you
prefer?

	Hi Ajug'ers!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...geez, I still cannot
lean over and tie my shoes!

My question today is which source version control do you prefer
and why? CVS, Subversion, VSS (no!), etc......

I have used CVS for about a decade it seems with no problems and
currently have implemented a CVS Server at the client which several
developers utilize. Well, now there is a push to change this from upper
management. You know, the same story, development environment is
stable, source code is backed up to tape properly, developers are
comfortable using it, etc., so let's find a better way to do it!

In order to prepare for the "shootout" at work, I would greatly
appreciate any insight and experience from others on the board as well
as any recs you may have to various other source control systems.

	Thanks in advance!

	Blaine Mincey
