David,

Just to be sure, select Navigate->Open Type... Type in the name of the class 
you're looking for, LinkedHashMap. If it shows up, then it's in your 
classpath. If it is in your classpath, ask Eclipse to "Organize you imports" 
in the source file context menu and see what happens. If not, then there's 
somthing wrong with the classpath.
