A client of ours in the Smyrna/Vinings area has an immediate contract to permanent opening for a Jr. Java Developer.  The permanent salary for this position will be 50K.  Should you be interested, please email me at mmcdill at apexsystemsinc.com.

Job Description:
Needs to be able to do front and backend Java Development. This will be a Jr level person with around one year of experience. They are not expected to interview well they just need to be someone who wants to grow within the company. Insurance experience is not required but a plus.
 
Provides technical expertise to design, develop and maintain software components and products that support the client's business applications. In addition, provides lead role for day-to-day functional tasks in the team, developer support and maintaining the development environment. Uses tools, languages, coding standards and best practices to develop new product features and maintain year over year product functionality and enhancements. Creates and executes unit tests and addresses defects. Works closely with QA and other related teams to ensure consistent understanding of requirements and approach. In addition, assists in planning and implementation of a strategic direction for the product. 
 
They work in an Agile environment with 3 sprints and then a weekend release. There are 4 releases once a quarter.Their day to day responsibilities will include heads down coding and no management of others. This person needs to have good communication skills and must be a US citizen/Green card holder/EAD. This is a 6 month contract to hire.
 
It will be one face to face interview. This candidate needs to have core java experience and SQL. It is fine if they are right out of school as long as they have great communication as well.
