Software Architect Job Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES 
-Define the architecture and strategy of a scalable web-based content management / ecommerce platform.  
-Develop detailed design documents for use in development sprints.  
-Review and coordinate development activities.  
- Work with product managers to define technical solutions for the business units long term and short term strategic objectives.  
-Stay current with emerging technologies and provide innovative ways to integrate with existing platform. 
-Assist development and quality assurance team members in their duties, tasks, responsibilities and functions. 
-Monitor the progress of development and testing. 
-Possess excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making and communication skills 
-Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE 
-3-5 years experience designing and implementing solutions that leverage a Content Management System. 
-3-5 years programming experience in Java and JavaScript/AJAX (strong OO skills preferred). 
-Social media integration 
-1-2 years programming experience in a full Software Development Life-Cycle environment 
-Mobile App/web experience a plus 
-Experience with the AGILE project development methodology. 
-Experience with the utilization of near or offshore development. 
-BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
