Contract opportunity for a Senior JAVA developer that already knows the language and can pick up on the current systems quickly. Should know Eclipse, this is their major IDE. Flex experience is a plus. Will be working on web services. Need this contractor ASAP. 
 
Would like the person with a primary skill set of Java and secondary of .NET. NOT required just preferred.

POSITION PURPOSE - 
The Sr. Developer has proficient knowledge of multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and develop the total technical design for an entire application to be run in production. The Sr. Developer has the ability to lay out requirements for the project team. Ability to guide and direct work on multiple projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production. Thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation. The Sr. Developer has the ability to present at the various architecture review boards. Display strategic view of applications .

This position would mainly be focused on projects associated with newer technologies such as Java and Flex. Any .NET expertise is a plus. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

•  5-7 years related experience. 
•  Retail/business experience a plus. 
•  Project leadership ability. 
•  BS Computer Science or related field. 
•  Experience in object oriented development with Java is required. 
•  Flex and Mobile development experience a plus. Sr. Developer will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment independently and as part of a team. 
•  Also, the Sr. Developer must be able to interpret business requirements and functional design specifications and use them to create both new applications and enhance existing applications
