Job Description:
Candidates must have substantial experience developing Network Management applications. 

An ideal candidate would have fault management application design experience for large carrier-scale data networks. Keywords for Fault Management include: alarm processing, alarm correlation, IBM Micromuse NetCool, Gensym G2, HP OpenView, EMC SMARTS InCharge, SNMP, CMIP, TL1. 

REQUIRED SKILLS - all at Expert level 
1. EXPERT Hands-on architecture and development experience. 
2. Minimum 10 years professional experience as software engineer 
3. EXPERT Java, C++ and Perl 
4. EXPERT UNIX, prefer Solaris 
5. EXPERT SNMP, CMIP, TL1 and socket programming 
6. Experience with Test Driven Development 

DESIRED Skills 
1. Netcool or Gensym G2 development experience 
2. Data Networking with FR, ATM & IP 
3. Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) & MPLS 
4. SQL & Relational Database 
5. Network Management Protocols and Systems Development 
6. Telecom OSS experience 

Milestones: Network Management design, code and unit test for GFP October 2010 production delivery and repeat with each subsequent release.
