iSymmetry, a leading provider of on-demand consulting and recruiting services, has an immediate opening for a Java Developer w/ Open Source experience. This a 1 year opportunity in Alpharetta, GA.  Interview times available for early next week (10/24 & 10/25)

Job Description

-Strong experience with SpringSource stack desired

- Strong initiative and the desire to work with emerging cloud technologies 

- Experience developing and deploying applications in large-scale, complex virtualized Linux/UNIX environments 

- Direct experience developing and supporting applications using cloud services (EC2, CloudFoundry, RackSpace, etc.) 

- In depth knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, SNMP, multi-cast, load balancer technology, sniffers) and security (SSL, java keystores, PKIs) 

- Understanding of JVM operations and J2EE technologies in distributed computing environments 

- Experience with Apache Camel, ServiceMix, FUSE ESB and similar technology is a plus 

- Experience profiling and tuning cloud applications is a plus 

- Messaging (Queue, Topics, etc) experience is a plus 

- Groovy and Grails experience is a plus
