Our client is a leader in their field, providing digital cable television, telecommunications and wireless services in the United States. Looking for a Java Developer to work with senior developers maintaining and enhancing custom software used at client's with the Granite/Telcordia Network inventory system. Phenomenal opportunity with great company!


Skills Required :: 

J2EE. 
Java. 
Oracle 10g. 
OracleApps. 
UNIX (Sun Solaris). 
Unix Shell Scripting experience either with Bourne or Korn Configuration Management systems such as SubVersion Ant Java Build tool Log4j logging Eclipse for Java Development. 
This is a contract position until end of 2011 through Volt Workforce Solutions, a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Atlanta, GA. Key Job Responsibilities :: 

Enhancement and maintenance of integration and custom software used at client's with the Granite/Telcordia network inventory system. These existing integration utilities and customer software are a combination of Java, both standalone Java application utilities, Java web applications, and Java web services, along with SQL scripts and Unix (Solaris) shell (Bourne shell and Korn shell) scripts. The Java web applications are deployed in a BEA WebLogic Application Server (version 9.2 MP2) as well as the Java web services. The Jr. Java Developer should be comfortable working with the combination of technologies.
