Sr. Java/Endeca Developer

Our client is looking for a lead or senior technologist with experience working on Endeca backend and the ability to integration with other Java apps. The Sr. Developer must proficient knowledge of multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and develop the total technical design for an entire application to be run in production. Present at the various architecture review boards, display strategic view of applications and how they fit into the whole retail space.

Our client is seeking world-class talent looking to build a career at the center of one of the top 40 retail websites that is experiencing an exciting growth trajectory. You will be exposed to the latest Web technologies including J2EE, WebSphere, and numerous industry-leading Web technologies running at large, enterprise scale. You will work with IT teams and business partners to understand strategic initiatives as well as deliver leading-edge online capabilities that also support our Client’s retail business. 
 
Preferred Skills:  
• 5-7 years related experience. 
• Retail/business experience a plus
• Project leadership ability 
• BS Computer Science or related field 
• Page builder experience is preferred 
• Endeca business rules familiarity and experience preferred 
• Endeca SEO API familiarity and experience preferred 

Required Qualification: 
• Should have implemented Endeca before (at least 1 major projects end to end) 
• Endeca backend (ITL, pipeline and configuration) experience 
• Endeca front end API (regular and Content Assembler API preferred) experience 
• Experience developing new application systems for production
