The company’s wireless touch-screen PatientPad™ solution streamlines the patient check-in process and delivers targeted health information to patients while they wait in a provider’s waiting room or exam room.

Job Summary:
The responsibility of this role is to ensure the satisfaction of each healthcare practice and advertising partner that selects the PatientPad. To accomplish this goal, this job requires implementation and management of data for several high volume web applications. 

Specific Responsibilities Include:
The Senior MySQL DBA will implement and manage several MySQL databases and support a variety of production, development and QA databases. This role will develop and implement MySQL database standards and infrastructure. You will perform installations, backups, loads, schema designs, disaster recovery design, warehousing initiatives, and tool selection.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years experience in IT production environments
MySQL schema design
Table indexing, locking, query analyzing
MySQL optimization, capacity planning and performance evaluation
Database replication and monitoring
Database backup and disaster recovery
Creating tuning and automation scripts
Documentation creation for configuration, repair and troubleshooting
Experience in high volume applications a plus
Experience with noSQL datastores a plus
Experience as a Linux administrator a plus
