Job Title:  Senior Java Architect/Developer (Alfresco)

Location:  Opportunities available nationally

consilium1 is looking for a top notch hands-on Java Architect to join our team! In this position you will be responsible for building a content management application that will later be customized and used in client presentations. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Java Developer/Architect who has wanted to work with Alfresco, Open Source content management systems, but does not have the practical hands-on experience that is normally necessary to become an Alfresco consultant. We have Alfresco experts that will be able to provide assistance during the development of this application and guide you towards the goal of becoming an Alfresco subject matter expert. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Take ownership and lead business application design efforts
•Build a content management application that will act as a demo for client presentations
•Customize content management application for specific client presentations. 
•Assist in the business development life cycle by serving as a solution SME in order to assist in business development opportunities 
•Present and express complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences


Requirements:
•Enterprise Content Management Development Experience is a plus
•Java Development Expertise 
•Experience with Java tools/technologies/frameworks/standards 
•The ability to define and validate a system’s Architecture
•Web Development experience and modern web design principles
•Experience with Open Source technologies; Spring, Hibernate, etc.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or a related discipline preferred
•Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
