A national client of ours has an immediate need for a Software Developer.  This is a 3 month contract to perm opportunity.  Local candidates only and all candidates must be able to convert to full-time on a W2 basis with our client.  

**Software Development with simulator tools (e.g. load simulators) is considered highly desirable for this client.

We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to work well independently and also as an excellent team player. We value innovation, creativity, accountability, flexibility, complex problem solving abilities, and a sense of urgency in providing timely software deliveries with high quality and efficient customer support.
Job Responsibilities:
	Work in a dynamic software verification team to innovate, develop, modify and deliver software solutions to meet internal verification requirements in an timely and cost effective way.
	Software solutions to be developed are in various areas such as (and not limited to); simulator tools (e.g. load simulators), test environment tools, GUI design, Web applications etc.
	Work with system verification engineers to clarify customer requirements/adaptations and provide software solutions for new or existing simulators.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
	Strong Java/CORBA development experience
	Strong Scripting (e.g. Perl)
	Very Good knowledge of the following operating systems: OSE, Unix    
                (Solaris), Linux
	Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g UDP, TCP/IP protocols) 
	Knowledge of database development and technologies (MySQL, Derby, 
                Oracle).
	Ability to maintain, modify and enhance existing application code.
	Familiarity with simulation concepts and design is desired.
	Familiarity with distributed and scalable s/w design, as well as load 
                testing is desired.
	Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply to work tasks.
