We have been asked to identify a Junior to Mid level Java Developer for one of our clients.  

Our client is a software vendor located in Midtown Atlanta. The company has, in the past decade, launched, grown and has certainly out-performed the economy to become a stable, profitable, dynamic and growing company. The company continues to grow and this position is an addition to staff. 

The product line—essentially, a logistical solution with various interface and communication capabilities—has been developed in several versions including Java. This position, reporting to and working with a senior Java Developer, will support and variety of enhancement and development pieces in Core Java (J2SE) and some very basic J2EE. The appeal here is very much focused on the thrill of creativity and problem solving, of using foundation level OO theory and basic Java building blocks to solve problems and to build efficient and usable software. It is not the use of a broad range of J2EE and Open Source technology. 

We are looking for a well educated (Degree is mandatory. Good school/solid GPA is a must. Command of software development/OO theory required) and technically enthused developer with a year or two or three of good solid Java/J2SE (maybe a little J2EE) work and a hunger to build and to enjoy a great development and work environment. 

Our client’s shop is small, creative, collaborative, informal and technically driven. The company is solid and growing. The shop is culturally laid back but technically demanding. Fun. Plus you get paid. 

We are looking for: 

Degree. Good School. Solid GPA

Current one to three years Java/J2SE/J2EE Development experience

Emphasis on problem solving vs. do-dad using

Strong conceptual knowledge: Software Development, OO, Java, Database

Stellar Interpersonal & Communication skills
