This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity with an exciting client on the cutting edge of the technology in their field.  The eventual perm salary range for this position is 80,000 – 90,000 after the initial 6 month contract period.

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated developer to work on a complex, multi-threaded application for Windows and Linux platforms. The position requires versatility and passion for building and maintaining extremely high quality enterprise-class software system. The position primarily involves coding C++ and/or C# applications. The work will involve maintaining existing code base, adding features to the existing code base, and writing new modules.


Qualifications:

Experience:  5 -  7 years of experience in developing O/O server applications 

Educational qualification: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science (or equivalent)

Required Technical Skills: 
- Proficient in C++ development (current)
- Experience with complex debugging (memory leaks, performance issues, memory leaks, resource leaks, deadlocks, crashes). 
- Experience with advanced debugging techniques (ADPlus, CRT debugger, Bounds Checker, AQtime, RedGate, Purify, etc)
- Experience with the design and development of distributed systems 
- Knowledge of object-oriented design
- Experience with socket and networking protocols

A Plus to Have:

Experience with AQtime or RedGate software
Experience  with Fedora
Experience with C#/.NET development.
