Type/Duration:  Six month contract

The Web Developer role is a front end development role in the software development job family.  The position will perform implementation of front end look and feel for various media websites.  The role will be responsible for designing and implementing web solutions using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and XML/XSLT.

Qualifications:

•	Bachelor’s degree in computer related field or equivalent professional experience.
•	2+ years experience working in an IT related field

Skills:
•	The Web Developer has a good working knowledge of front end web technologies (XHTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, javascript, etc) and is capable of mentoring a Junior Web Developer in this area.
•	Able to translate business requirements into detailed technical designs.
•	Ability to surface tasks in a project plan and break down larger tasks into sub tasks and provide LOE for these tasks.
•	Thorough understanding of life cycle development from requirements through post implementation.

Responsibilities:
•	Document requirements, test code, and follow software development life cycle process.  
•	Work to become proficient in one or more programming language within assigned technical area by performing assigned tasks.  
•	Follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards. 
•	Participate in appropriate test/code reviews on assigned projects. 
•	Work with Senior Web Developers, Team Lead, and Architect to design and build quality web pages.
