Curriculum Advantage, Inc., located in Duluth, Georgia, provides computer-based instruction through Classworks, a total learning system proven to increase student achievement through research-based software and independent assessment. Curriculum Advantage’s award winning software is Classworks, a network-based system of K-12 reading and mathematics curriculum and learning tools that currently comprise over 5,000 hours of curriculum. 

GWT Consultant's Proposed Scope of Work: 

Phase I:

Phase I of this project will begin with a code review of the Classworks Web Edition source code.  Curriculum Advantage, Inc. would like for the Consultant to provide direction on the following items:
a.	Performance Issues
	i.	Tomcat configurations
	ii.	GWT Compiler
b.	Security Issues
	i.	Provide direction on Async calls
		1.	Default cross-script mode (on/off?)
c.	Development/Coding
d.	Initial load times (5MB project file)
	i.	Caching
	ii.	Provide direction on Gzip through the browser
e.	Identify Memory Leak Issues

The potential deliverables identified for this phase of the project could be:
a.	Code examples and documentation
b.	Recommendation List / Comments
	1.	Performance Issues
	2.	Security Issues
	3.	Development/Coding best practices
	4.	Quality Control

Phase II:

The action items of Phase II will be based on the Consultant’s findings.
