BB009012 - Java Senior Analyst/Designer/Developer

Description

An Atlanta based, prepaid Visa Card and Phone Card Company, is looking for several Senior Analyst/Design/Java Developers to augment a team that is responsible for the development and implementation of an Open Source ERP system.

Responsibilities

•	Participate in analysis of existing functionality that needs to be replicated in new ERP system.
•	Design new add-on functionality to ERP system.
•	Participate in the development and implementation of ERP system.
•	Assist with preparation of functional specifications for ERP upgrades.
•	Participate in the collective goal of on-time and on-budget implementation.

Qualifications & Experience Requirement

•	Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•	10+ years overall experience in IT industry.
•	Experience working in the USA (6+ absolute minimum).
•	6+ years experience in Java programming.
•	5+ years experience with analysis and design experience
•	Open Source ERP, Commercial ERP, Opentaps experience a plus.
•	Object oriented development experience.
•	Server-side Java development experience.
•	Java based web development experience.
•	Excellent knowledge of Java programming methodologies and frameworks.
•	Software development processes and best practices.
•	Experience with relational databases, primarily SQL Server and MySQL.
•	Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
•	Ability to work under pressure; must thrive in fast-paced environment.
•	Knowledge of XML, JRules, Ant, SOAP, Web Services, JUnit, JBOSS, Tomcat, Load Runner, SubVersion.


Location & Hours

•	Downtown Atlanta.
•	Normal business hours.

Duration

Duration would start as 3 months, with option for ongoing contract for good candidates.
