Title: Sr. Programmer Analyst


Responsibilities: Work on New Product Development using cutting edge technologies like Dojo & Flex on the "myverizon" site.
Dynamic system development using Agile methodology
Design and Develop extensions to MyVerizon converge/integrate websites implementing Single Sign On, Web services and Ajax technologies.
Technical evaulation of new products to improve the performance, scalability and reliability of My Verizon applications.


Job Restrictions:

Qualifications: 4+ years of experience on working on large scale self service applications as a J2EE developer with emphasis on Struts2.0, Spring, Hibernate technologies

Hands On experience utilizing Ajax with Dojo Or Flex Or other UI technologies.

• Hands on years of experience working on custom DOJO Widget protocols a plus**

• Candidates must have experience in JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, Prototype, YUI Tools.

• Experience creating XML / XSD specs and Web services using SOAP

Dynamic system development using Agile methodology
• Experience with RAD 7.0 for Web development, MKS for source control is required.
• Excellent communication skills required. 
• Leadership skills and experience be able to provide back-up support for Lead.
PC literacy, including desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.)
Strong business knowledge and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of information systems concepts
Strong knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures
Demonstrated decision-making and leadership abilities
Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
4+ years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
