Position Description:
Reporting into Vitrue’s technology group, our Senior Software Engineer will have 8+ years of experience with object-oriented application development. This role will require practical skills using MVC frameworks to their fullest. You will be joining a team responsible for producing clean, high quality, standards compliant code. This will include working with other cross functional groups to ensure successful delivery of various projects and communicate technical parameters and constraints to relevant team members.

Requirements: 
- Experience with OO & MVC frameworks - Java, Ruby on Rails (engines, components and plugins) - XHTML and CSS - JavaScript and major JS libraries such as jQuery 
- Experience with AS3 and FLEX a big plus 
- Experience with database principles (MySQL), SVN and familiarity with Unix or Linux 
- Enthusiastic and interested in social media marketing, not averse to online advertising 
- A startup mentality with a whatever it takes approach to accomplishing goals 
- Well grounded and flexible when it comes to solving challenges 
- Willingness to learn rapidly and flexibility for iterative change 
- Resourceful to suggest alternatives and share ideas 
- Ability to work well with team members and communicate effectively 
- Desire to work in a Mac OS X environment, office is over 90% Mac 
- Ability to commute by car, MARTA, or horse to downtown Atlanta (stables not available)
