Our client, located in Atlanta, GA, is searching for a Sr. Java Developer to join their dynamic team for a contract opportunity.

Overview of Project:
Our client is embarking on an EMV (EuroPay/MasterCard/Visa) compliance standard initiative for their retail locations in Canada. EMV is an emerging standard for highly secure credit card transactions which increases security and decreases fraud for consumers, merchants, and credit card companies.

Position: Our client is seeking Sr. Java Developers to assist in building an application that will interface with electronic payment hardware devices and client back end systems. Prior experience working on an EMV, SmartCard, Chip and Pin project is a big plus. Experience with retail, credit card transactions, or payment processing projects is a must.

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

Experience with Point of Sale, Retail, or Payment Processing (absolutely required to be considered)
5 years of Java/J2EE development experience
3+ years experience Java Beans and web services
5 years of SQL/Unix experience
Experience with Tomcat a plus
