Required Skills:
•5+ years of solid Java work experience
5+ years JSP/Servlet development experience with MVC framework(s) (WebWorks, Struts, JSF, Spring MVC, Tapestry, etc.)
5+ years of SQL development experience (Oracle, MySQL, and/or SQL Server)
5+ years of JavaScript with Advanced concepts (AJAX, JSON, Prototyping, etc.)
5+ years of CSS/XHTML
2+ years experience with J2EE technologies (EJB, JMS, etc)
Ability to configure Apache, Tomcat, and/or other application servers
Open Source tools experience (Ant, Junit, Eclipse IDE, Commons, Velocity, Log4J, Subversion)
Solid understanding of design patterns and OO concepts
Excellent communication skills
Ability to mentor less experienced developers

Preferred Skills:
Recent experience with integrating newer Technologies and frameworks with EJB2 technology.
Recent experience with Spring
JBoss Application Server experience
Insurance Industry Experience
Bachelor’s in Computer Science
Agile Scrum or XP experience
