PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY
Java/.NET/Oracle

Join a stable company north of Atlanta as a Supervisor - Web Application development.  You will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications and be responsible for supervising a group of 3-6 application development staff (Software Developers, Associate Developers, and Business Analysts).  These resources may be internal or contractors.  This position is focused on the internal and customer facing web portals.  You will assist with the adoption of new Oracle tools and provide a strategy for migrating legacy web applications to the new Oracle tools.  You will be 40% team lead supervisor and 60% hands on development.  Need experience with: .Net technology for customer facing application -- Microsoft products for intranet communications and portals.  Propose and implement new and emerging technology platforms (mobile and wireless, IP-delivered, broadband video).  Allocate resources and take responsibility for project scheduling.  Develop staff, including performance evaluations and career development
Create and review project plans, timelines, estimates, and requirements documents.  Oversee the team’s project portfolio and ensuring that all project teams are meeting timelines, budgets, and goals.  Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures for the web development organization
Enforce adherence to standards across the enterprise.  Need Java, .net, web portal exp. and Oracle experience from a technical perspective.

Required Experience
7 – 10 years total experience with web development
3+ years experience supervising staff (either direct reports, project staff or consultants) 
5+ years of internet development experience with technologies such as .net, Java application development, J2EE, and Oracle technologies such as:
Experience with Oracle WebCenter Interaction product line including Portal, Collaboration, Publisher, IDK,Net Web Controls, etc.
Experience with Oracle database and integration with Oracle Access Manager products – 
Experience in full cycle portal implementation
Awareness of Java-standard and portal based application development
Experience in developing complex ASP.NET applications
Experience with web services standards: WS-policy, WS-addressing, WS-security and WS-notification
The ability to assist management with strategy and perform hands-on development
The ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented. 
Outstanding inter-personal and communication skills in order to interface with various departments and management levels, make presentations to an internal audience, interact positively with upper management
Excellent customer focus and awareness of the importance of the customer in a service organization.
Experience in creating documentation of technical systems, training users in complex topics, and operational procedures.
Experience in requirements gathering, use case development, determining business process flow and task mapping to review the team’s documentation and provide guidance.  
Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Rapid Application Development (RAD) are critical.
