We have an immediate need for a hand on Java Web Application developer for a 4-6 month contract with our client in the Perimeter Center area.  

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute unit testing scripts
Design and build web-based Java end-user applications
Document technical design and code
Contribute to application architecture discussions and decisions
Perform root cause analysis and resolve application issues in testing and production

Requirements:

Development experience in a variety of environments and using a variety of tools/languages.
4+ years of web application development experience
Experience in our core development technologies (Java, UNIX)
4-year college degree
Java/JSP/JavaScript Web Development
Object Oriented Design/Development
Cross-Browser HTML Design/Development (esp. Internet Explorer)
Web Development Frameworks: Ext JS (or AJAX) and Struts 2 frameworks
SQL development skills
Strong analytical/critical thinker
Highly organized and thorough approach to development

Desired:
UNIX Scripting
UML/Requirements Gathering
Back-End / Data Movement Application Design/Development
Experience in using and developing Ant build scripts
Experience with CVS for code control
