Software Engineer II (Java)
Job Description
The software engineer will work individually and in team environments in the development and maintenance of web applications.  Candidates will be expected to have a strong grasp of programming concepts in general.  They will also need to exhibit a great capacity to learn, be autonomous, and be self-motivated.  The environment is casual and fun, but also demanding.  Team members are generally expected to be involved in multiple steps and roles of the software development process.

Skills
Must Have
•	3-7 years of solid Java work experience mainly in Web Development
•	3-7 years JSP/Servlet development experience with MVC framework(s)
•	3-7 years of SQL development experience (Oracle, MySQL, and/or SQL Server)
•	1-3 years of Hibernate experience
•	3-7 years of JavaScript
•	3-7 years of CSS/XHTML and CSS driven design
•	Ability to configure Apache, Tomcat, and/or other application servers
•	Open Source tools experience (Ant, Junit, Eclipse IDE, Commons, Velocity, Log4J, Subversion)
•	Solid understanding of design patterns and OO concepts
•	Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have
•	Recent experience with WebWorks or Struts 2
•	Recent experience with Spring
•	jBPM or Drools experience
•	Strong Linux skills
•	Bachelor’s in Computer Science
•	Agile Scrum experience
Special Considerations
•	CMS Experience
•	Strong LAMP stack skills (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
•	Cold Fusion Experience
