We are a leading provider of Decision-Making Technology and Information for Businesses and Government. Due to our aggressive growth, we are seeking a Lead Software Engineer. If you desire for growth and the opportunity to make an impact, then we are looking for you!

This exciting, growth opportunity is with the Insurance Services Group. We help speed and facilitate the insurance underwriting functions by providing quick and easy access to up-to-date information. We are the industry’s most complete source of historical claims and are crucial to assessing the risk of underwriting a particular policy. We combine history with insurances scores, motor vehicle reports, prior coverage confirmations, driver and vehicle registration confirmations at the house-hold level to offer complete picture. 

As a part of our team, you will be responsible for designing/developing large data-centric Java/J2EE/C/C++ applications and responding to product support issues. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, using an iterative development methodology. Responsibilities include: analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and support. You must be able to work with management, project management and lead architects, as well as collaborate with other engineers in the group.

Knowledge/Skills:
•9+ years of software development experience required
•5+ years of Java programming experience required 
•4+ years of C/C++ required and willing to work in both as well as Java/J2EE
•4+ years of J2EE/EJB 
•3+ years of WebLogic and/or JBOSS preferred
•3+ years of experience with web technologies required (JSP, struts, JSF, AJAX)
•4+ years of Oracle RDBMS 
•3+ years of UNIX development- Solaris preferred
•Experience with JBuilder and/or Eclipse preferred
•Experience programming in PL/SQL is a plus
•Experience with VB is a plus
•Excellent communication & writing skills 
•Experience with UML modeling tools & the use of design patterns
•Ability to operate in a team environment and under tight deadlines
•Experience with JUnit testing
•Knowledge of Unix Scripting, ant files, Java Script are a plus
