#1316 Sr Software Eng. 2 SPOTS 

Summary of position: 

Senior developer on the Digital Telephony team. Job duties include designing, enhancing and maintaining a java and J2EE code base for various projects relating to Digital Telephony. This position is also responsible for production support resources in order to satisfy business requirements.. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES: 

• Work with project leader to design, implement, test, and package application platform 
• Perform maintenance and trouble shooting activities on assigned applications 
• Coordinate work activities with the Quality Assurance and Project Management Organizations. 
• Design, code, test and implement HTML web pages and JAVA/J2EE applications. 
• Develop high-level estimates and project plans and meet schedules 
• Develop detailed design documentation 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
• Availability for production support 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Eight or more years work experience 
• Five years or more JAVA experience – Certificate is preferred 
• Five years or more J2EE experience (including SERVLET, JSP, RMI) 
• Five years or more UNIX experience 
• Five years HTML experience 
• Five years or more Oracle / SQL experience 
• Must have Struts experience 
• Experienced with Spring Framework 
• Experienced with Web Services 
• Experience working with XML, XMLBeans/XSD 
• Experience working with ANT and TOMCAT 
• Experience working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL 
• Web Logic Portal experience a plus 
• Telecom experience a plus 

Necessary Skills: Java, J2EE, UNIX (Sun Solaris), JavaScript, HTML, HTTP, XML, Web Applications,
