Blockbuster Digital Technologies has a full-time opportunity for a Senior Java Software Engineer. The engineer will be creating a next generation business platform to suit the growing needs of the business.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participate in architecture, design, and development of integration systems
- Develop applications using Java/Groovy/.Net
- Participate in release planning and system deployment and documentation
- Review work of other team members and assist junior team members in tasks
- Work with Quality Assurance teams to ensure quality product is delivered, develop and execute test plans, and address performance issues
- Report project progress and status to all levels of management and team

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of 5 years of practical Java experience building and deploying production J2EE systems
- Familiar with Spring, SpringMVC, Maven and Subversion
- Experience with Flash/Flex/Silverlight is a plus
- Experience with Mac OSX and Linux is helpful
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must
- Must be willing to work with a variety of diverse technologies to solve complex problems

Positions are available in the Atlanta Midtown office and New York city.
