SolTech is actively seeking a software engineer to work on a phonetic-based technology for audio and video search. This is a fabulous opportunity to work on some really cool technology.

Required Skills:

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience with a focus in telephony, particularly call signaling, and experience using Java to implement telephony systems, specifically. If you do not have all the skills, you could still be a fit. We are looking for an academia minded individual who can delve in and get the job done.

1. Expertise in telephony call signaling/control protocols, both VoIP (SIP, H.323) and PSTN (SS7). 
2. Solid experience with Avaya AES/DMCC (was CallManager API). 
3. Experience in using RTP for transferring call audio. 
4. Experience implementing scalable telephony systems in Java. Looking for strong knowledge of Java threading, concurrency, networking, and IO. 
5. Familiar with both Linux and Windows OS. 
6. Experience with JAIN a plus. 

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, masters preferred, in Computer Science or a related discipline.
