Our client is seeking a seasoned Java developer for a contract opening in Alpharetta, GA. Our client has been a leading provider of decision-making technology and information that helps reduce fraud and mitigate risk. Our client has grown from the nation's premier source of data to the insurance industry into the premier provider of decision-making insight to businesses and government. Through the identification, retrieval, storage, analysis and delivery of data, our client serves the informational needs of businesses of all sizes, as well as federal, state and local government agencies.
This is a 4 month project to work on a middleware application for insurance customers. This application sits/interfaces with client apps. and also in-house applications.

The main technologies for this project include: Java, J2ee - Java 1.4 experience and Java 1.5 a plus. Has to have a fundamental knowledge of java basics; EJB Development - This will be focused on Session Bean Development (Stateful and Stateless session beans);XML - Extensive experience is not required, but has to have knowledge of development and parsing of XML messages; Oracle 10g experience - ability to retrieve data and manipulate if needed. Also experience with creating PL/SQL queries, simple to moderately complex table joins and also Database Tuning; JMS Experience; Struts 1.2 experience, JSP development work (needs to be able to do it, but this is more of a back-end position);Junit is utilized for Unit testing, but there is some manual testing done as well.
