The User Interface Developer is an analytic problem solver who can combine research, user interface design principles, and business requirements into intuitive and user-friendly supply chain solutions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Review user requirements to create appropriate prototypes and user interface frameworks
Incorporate input from a variety of people such as business analysts, managers, and the R&D team
•	Create wireframes, workflow charts, and use case scenarios
•	Design and specify user interfaces using iterative design techniques and through the application of information architecture design, interaction design, and human computer interaction design principles
•	Manage the design process, drive decisions, track issues, and assist in estimating resource needs and schedules
•	Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented
•	Responsible for the design, development, testing and/or support of a significant part of a complex software system (or database). 
•	Provides technical leadership to a small group of software engineers and/or DBAs
•	Develops detailed design specifications for multiple areas of a software system (or database)
•	Becomes familiar with all dependencies, interfaces and services required by most areas of the software system
•	Determines optimal and efficient designs for multiple areas of the software system
•	Leads development of multiple areas of the software system from detailed design specifications
•	Develops and unit tests assigned software areas following R&D development processes
•	Estimates and plans own work and the work of others in the group
•	Becomes the resident expert across multiple areas of the system
•	Evaluates software (or configuration) issues with many areas of the system and resolves them in a timely manner

Requirements:
•	Typically requires BS/BA or higher in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction or related field (MS Degree preferred)
•	1-3 years of JSF experience required
•	Must have experience customizing Java Server Faces or implementing custom UI components
•	1-3 years software development experience (Java and/or Open Systems preferred)
•	Experienced professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in UI Architecture. 
•	Ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of latest trends in J2EE standards such as JBI, JMS, EJB, JSF, JSA, ESB etc. 
•	Candidate should also be familiar with development methodologies such as RUP. 
•	A good understanding of databases is desirable. (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server)
