Our client, a major online commerce company located in Dunwoody,GA, is looking for a Java developer for a 3-6 month contract. We are unable to use subvendors or Corp to Corp candidates for this position. The rate for this position is 63/hr. 

They are currently seeking a Sr. Java Software Developer to work on an online application. This application allows their Clients to participate in web based business while in separate locations. The position requires strong Java skills and good leadership abilities.

Qualifications:
- B.S. in computer science or related field
- Excellent communication skills
- 7 years Java development
- 3 years leading other developers
- 3 years Java coding in a multithreaded application
- 2 years Swing, Applets, GUI 
- 2 years Struts/Spring development experience
- 1 year using Eclipse based IDEs
- 2 years Tomcat App server
- Threaded Network Experience 
- Java Collections Experience 
- Experienced in Memory Management 
- Experienced in Socket Development 
- Experienced in Java NIO Package

Additional skills:
- Strong data analysis and basic statistics skills.
- Database design experience
- Ability to successfully resolve stressful production issues
- Ant build experience

Responsibilities:
Complete assignments in a timely manner
- Assist in architecture/roadmap planning
- Work with Product Development to fulfill their requests
- Work with our QA Team to get our releases into production
- Stabilize our code/build/deployment
