This developer will be working in the Enterprise Document Processing group. This group develops an application that creates, maintains, and edits all documentation for cellular products sold in retail stores. So when a customer purchases a new phone, they sign the customer service agreement, the wireless service agreement and receives rebate forms which are all products of this application.
Qualifications:
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area with minimum 5 years as Software Developer /Engineer /Programmer, or a master’s degree in a related area with 3+ years of experience.
• Must be proficient with hands-on experience with Weblogic, iPlanet, Sqlplus, Java, C++, Java2, J2EE (JMS, JDBC, RMI, JNDI, etc.), Swing, UNIX shell scripts.
• Experience Migrating, Deploying, P- Tuning Performance Tuning, Load Balancing, Tuning Heap Size, Execute Threads, CPU Utilization, Connection Pool, JMS Configuration and cluster configuration.
• Understanding of portals and workplace technical software components, including portal software and collaboration, Web content management, document management, identity management, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing technical system solutions and determining overall design direction.
• Provide technical leadership and are responsible for the technical integrity within a subsystem or application.
• Also provide technical expertise to generate maintainable, quality solutions.
• Includes documenting system requirements, creating application designs, validating high level designs to ensure accuracy and completeness against the business requirements and programming the solutions.
• Attend project meetings when technical advice is needed and communicate the project design to other architects.
• May resolve design issues and develop strategies to make ongoing improvements that support system flexibility and performance.
• Assess the technical feasibility of new technologies to enable integration into existing processes.
