Our client is a provider of check related products to financial institutions.  We are searching for a Sr. JEE Developer to join our client on a contract to permanent basis.  The developer will help drive projects involved with some of the latest web-based initiatives that will ultimately drive our client’s business offerings to the next level. We are seeking excellent communication and people skills; someone who can be a leader in a highly motivated and skilled group of people; someone who understands they are not always going to be the smartest person in the room, but can get those in the room working together to meet goals and deliverables; this person should be capable of taking on the responsibilities of leadership if it is asked of them. If you are someone that can join a dynamic team and contribute within weeks not months, are highly motivated to learn and use any skills needed to provide solutions for the strategic growth of the business then you are who we need!! 

Technical skills: 

• Advanced Java skills, including EJB3, Hibernate, Web Services (XFire a plus), Spring or similar Inversion of Control framework. • Advanced Web Application skills, including Struts 1.2, AJAX (DWR a plus), DHTML. • A working knowledge of design patterns, standardized coding techniques, and documentation standards. 

Nice to Have: 

• Familiarity or actual use of Maven 1.x • Familiarity or actual use of WebSphere 6.x
