Development focused on integration between our software and other systems, such as CAD, GIS, accounting, ALLCAPS MAINFRAME SYSTEMS, etc.

Our focus in on map-based tools for our end-users, who are typically working in the office or in the field at electric or other utilities. Our platform is 90+% pure Java, so a strong Java background is a must. Much of the integration work is in Java-based scripting languages such as Python, BeanShell, and Ruby; SQL is very important as well. Our work takes us in a lot of directions, however, so flexibility about tools, languages, and operating systems is also essential. 

Our office is in downtown Athens. We're extremely casual and non-hierarchical; decision-making is by consensus and all employees participate in profit-sharing. However, every employee is expected to be self-motivated and self-managed. Our work is challenging but generally fun. Currently opportunity is overwhelming us.
