Position Description

ASC Information Technology is a proven, emerging, provider of quality IT consulting and IT training services in the Midwest.  We currently seek an experienced JAVA developer who is interested in “making a difference” by providing exceptional consulting services to one of our key clients. ASCIT currently has an opening for a MID LEVEL (2 + years of experience) and a SENIOR LEVEL (4+ years of experience to architect level) JAVA developer.

The selected candidates will possess the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

    * Strong Java/J2EE (minimum 3 years)
    * Strong Struts, JSP, Servlets
    * Strong understanding of multi-tier architecture
    * Strong understanding of Object Oriented technologies
    * Relational Database/SQL (Oracle preferred)
    * WebLogic or Websphere a plus
    * Portal experience a plus
    * Excellent analytical skills
    * Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    * Other relevant experience will be considered
