SUMMARY
Responsibilities for the Programmer Analyst position include requirements gathering, design, development and integration of new web-based applications as well as maintenance of existing applications.  Programmer Analyst position requires working knowledge of web technology development, integration and deployment.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•	Communicate with management and clients, create use cases and gather system requirements.
•	Participate in all phases of the software development process.
•	Document software development/applications. 
•	Design test scenarios.
•	Perform testing on applications. 
•	Other functions as required in the performance of TRX daily business requirements.  


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  
•	This position has no supervisory responsibilities.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 
•	Work effectively in a team environment.
•	Must be flexible to work when needed with appropriate notice.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
•	A bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field.   
•	3-5 years of software development experience.  
•	Experience with some of the following technologies:
Java
Delphi
Adobe Flex
•	Experience with development on a windows platform. 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS 
•	Must be able to internalize and understand management directives and communicate directives to other programmers.
•	Must have the ability to communicate ideas effectively verbally and in writing. 
•	Strong documentation skills.  
•	Communicate effectively with team members.  

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 
•	Strong knowledge of mathematics typically associated with programming.  

REASONING ABILITY 
•	Creative problem solving.

•	None Required.
