Our client is a leading eCommerce company headquartered in Atlanta, and one of the most recognized names on the internet today. As a very progressive company - they are looking to invest in new projects and people for some very large corporate initiatives that will be starting immediately. Our customer is building out a new team to start a large, well-funded, project. 
The consultant will be part of a new team forming over the next couple of weeks. Engineers are responsible for designing, developing and implementing programs, as required, to support the technical capabilities the application. To be successful in this role the consultant must be able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Previous experience with AGILE development methodologies and practices is very important for this position. This role requires excellent communication skills, both with team members and business contacts and to folks at different levels. This role calls for a true technology professional, not just a coder who is looking for their next gig!!! Only candidates that show a level of commitment and dedication to successful projects will be considered. In addition, the successful Engineer must be able to work with minimal or no supervision on multiple concurrent projects and to coordinate the work of others in this environment. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience • More than 6 years experience in relevant technologies developing for high-volume, multi-tier architecture based applications. • Good knowledge of and experience with user interface design patterns, visual design elements, web technologies, and development methodologies. • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization • Ability to work on multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to any given situation • Thorough working knowledge of: o HTML, DHTML o JavaScript (including DOM Scripting) o CSS o JSP o SQL o XML o Apache web servers o UNIX o Photoshop o MS Office o Visio o JSF o Java o Large scale web application development o Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA (IDE).
